Aqua Explosion (2007)

This piece is very well liked, if you have a look at my ‘collections’ page you can see it in-situ at one of the Restaurants I exhibit at.

It is 40” x 40” (1.02m x 1.02m), on a box canvas.

‘Aqua’ has been produced by laying 3 successive layers of texture, the final layer being very pronounced, in places 15mm from the canvas. It has been sealed, then painted using a combination of Blue, Aqua and Silver acrylics and has been lacquer sealed for protection.

It has an abstract symmetry, looks almost mirrored, and like a lot of my work has an explosive quality about it
